This sub caters to all approaches to what is deemed “healthy” and each has the opportunity to share info within the rules.     * Be respectful towards other dietary points of view. **Activism, crusading, agitation trolling, food / diet shaming, food ethics / morals, and absolutism are not allowed**. Camping in wait to bash others with your beliefs will result in a ban.
    * Do not add comments calling food disgusting, gross, or any other non-constructive criticism.
    * **Do not claim foods as non-healthy without citing studies (with links)**. Again, people come in varieties so AVOID absolutist claims. Do not expect posts of food to be *perfectly healthy*, recipe improvement posts are allowed (help them continue to improve rather than criticize).
    * Don’t generalize others or even the subreddit itself if you don’t get the votes you want or if others disagree with you and certainly don’t attack anyone for it. Sometimes we get more of one POV than another but the waves come and go.
    * **Don’t make assumptions about ingredients, portions, or the poster’s diet / needs**
    * **Don’t fight fire with fire**. Report rule violations. If things get ugly, counter with science, never insults. You can also opt to walk away

    **TLDR:** Educate. Don’t berate. Ask before you assume. No rudeness, complaining, or diet war BS

  2. Depends a lot on the ingredients but I’d assume it’s “healthier” than most breakfast cereals. Your best bet is to make some homemade. It isn’t too hard. I personally like a recipe from one of the 100 Days of Real Food cookbooks. You can eat it like cereal, add it to yogurt, or even simply snack on it.

  3. Idk if this is the right sub but I hear alot of conflicting arguments on it, I assume it’s bad but idk, I’m wondering if it’s healthy if it can replace cereal because it honestly tastes better.

  4. Moderation is key. Granola by itself is not bad by usually in cereals there a lot of sugar. Research how to read nutrition labels on packages. Will help a ton.

  5. I would not consider it healthier than cereal (about the same), but having it in moderation is fine like everything else. It’s not the worst choice for breakfast food
