About the Job of Guest Relations Executive Jobs in Dubai – Nomad Services – Jumeirah Creekside Hotel:
An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Executive to join Nomad Services F&B Department in Jumeirah Creekside Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 
  • To report on time for duty.
  • Check the log book/briefing paper and sign it.
  • To check the amount of reservations for the day.
  • To finalize the tables allocation before the service.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set up.
  • Check cleanliness of the outlet.
  • Follow the opening/closing procedure.
  • Should know his/her side duties assigned by the OM/AOM/TL.
  • Should inform the OM/AOM/TL any matters or problem with related to guest satisfaction.
  • Check restaurant is ready to serve for the guest before the opening hours.
  • To ensure that all mis- en place is ready for smooth function of the restaurant.
  • Know the menu contents, daily specials, unavailable items.
  • To ensure that all service is followed according to the sequence of service.
  • To ensure that all working area is kept clean following the Hygiene standards.
  • To ensure food and beverage orders are delivered as per the standards of Jumeirah Creekside.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service by practising team work.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests by maintaining positive guest relation at all times.
  • Handles all complaints following the instant as per guest complain handling procedures.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Should be aware of the reservations for B/F, lunch, and dinner.
  • Be responsible for all equipment in handling it carefully to avoid breakages and damages to the restaurant.
  • Should be responsible in handling soiled linen and exchanging it for fresh linen before the operation begins.
  • To assist in carrying out inventories of operating equipment and linen as per schedule.
  • To assist in carrying out deep cleaning of the outlet as per schedule.
  • To perform other assigned duties as and when required by the outlet managers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to all payments, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
  • To be ready to work willingly to any assignment given.
  • Successful completion of training requirement.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team including assistance for large events or hotel functions.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • One years’ experience in similar role in as Guest Relation Executive department.
  • Experience in a 5 star luxury hotel.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Additional languages would be an advantage.  
  • Cashiering systems ( Micros, HSI, others).
  • Ability to handle large restaurants and guest volumes on a daily basis.
  • Should be able to work under pressure in a customer service environment.
